We went to Israel for the first two weeks of July and I got to play 3 rounds with my dad and his friends. I didn't bring my own clubs so I had to borrow some and played a different set every time. I managed to shoot 91, 95 and 86 (finally broke 90) on this par 73 layout. This course is very tough. Not only is it pretty long and a par 73, but it is set up as a links style course with sand dunes with thick brush around the fairways. Instead of hitting from the rough you end up having to hit out of fluffy sand (waste areas). And if you're further off line, then your ball is probably lost in the thick brush and the only thing you will find is a snake waiting for you inside.

So not only did I brake 90 (finally) but I also beat my Dad straight up with no strokes. He shot an 89 which is not at all typical for him. I actually started out the round with 4 straight pars and the back 9 with 6 straight pars. The course was in great shape because the club was hosting the Macabiah games (Jewish Olympics) that week. I still think it is one of the hardest courses I have ever played.
