Had to withdraw from the MUGT Tour Championship at Bear's Best next month. We got an birthday invite from one of our neighbors and we decided to all go as a family. I would have had no chance of getting to the top of my flight's points standing even with a win. I love Bear's Best though, and this is the perfect time of year to play it.

On another front, my mother-in-law had a brilliant idea. She thinks my wife and I should get golf lessons so that we could spend more time together while she watches the baby. My wife has stated in the past that she would love to learn how to play and this could be a great family tradition starting out. I actually got her a lesson a couple of years ago when we lived in New York and she hit a few 7 irons flush and straight, so there's hope.
