I played in a Stableford tournament last Saturday and tied for 3rd place. We played on the Stonemont course (70/70.6/127) in Stone Mountain GC. It is a very tough Robert Trent Jones Sr. course and is his only public course in the state of Georgia. I scored 14 points, which is pretty poor, but ended up posting a 92 (you pick up on double bogies). I would have probably shot over 100 if we had to hole out. This will probably be my last tournament until the season ending Tour Championship at Bear's Best in September. That's not me in the picture below, but you can see my name on the scoreboard. I don't know why but almost every time I play in one of these tournaments the winner is someone in my group. Strange...
